The DCOR River is an innovative open channel flowmeter, allowing the flow to be calculated accurately without any contact with the effluent or the need to install a pressure reducing device. It was designed to facilitate the measurement of the flow of free-flowing watercourses (canals, rivers, manholes, non-full pipes, etc.) in a large panel of activities (water discharge, sewerage network, flood monitoring and flood prevention, water and wastewater treatment, etc.). The DCOR River is composed of a 24 GHz radar speed sensor associated with an ultrasonic level sensor. Radar uses the Doppler effect to detect the position and speed of moving particles. Featuring the most advanced signal processing technology with multi-point and multi-layer flow velocity analyzer. It can thus be installed either at the top or on the side of the flow according to your needs or the constraints of your site. The radar calculates a multitude of speed values, and an average speed will result from this. It also maps water levels to obtain flow with very high precision. Previously, the implementation of such a measurement was laborious and very expensive, and the DCOR River flowmeter allows us to make a remarkable advance in terms of precision, stability, performance, simplicity of implementation and durability.
